On the radio show ...
On the radio show Gervais said Coogan is great and Alan Partridge is genius, Merchant agreed. He said the same of Chris Morris when someone said to him they preferred Chris Morris's work to his, he said, nice to be compared to a genius. He's humble and aware of his influences and comedy brethren. It's a deep pity that people pit them all up against eachother as if you? can only enjoy one person or another.
